Reflection 1 and 2
I have missed the days of writing the reflections. Herm. My bad. So… in this new post, I will write about my reflection regarding this course, what I feel, what I’ve learned and what I expect from this course.
1st lecture
The first lecture regarding this course has given me different perspective about Educational Technology. Well, by all means, anything that involves technology is very informative and interesting, of course. I learn about having WordPress. How to use it, the purpose of it and the interesting elements by using WordPress as a medium of instruction for the course. Although I have my own blog already, but I can see the differences between these two. Blogspot, I think is way informal than WordPress. Though the purpose is the same – use for blogging – the most important thing about having a blog is to share to people what we have in our minds and to deliver the message across – whatever we want to convey to the people.
2nd lecture
In 2nd lecture, we are exposed to the world of photography – not in depth, but through this course, we will have the opportunity to take photos (and some of us might show off some skills..hehe) and put it in a form of a media. Well, I like to take pictures and I hope to enhance my skill in it.
Also, we have learned about the terms we use in this course. For example, what is the meaning of “technology”, “education”, “instructional media” and “instructional technology”. These terms, as what I understand, I define as all the technology and media that we can use as means to educate the students. Well, it is important to note that though we are in the modern world, not all schools are equipped with technologies and stuff. Herm. So… teachers-to-be… back-up plan please!
As a conclusion, I’m looking forward for this course. Well, I think I can learn a lot of new things here… =)

Language and English
“Language is the blood of the soul into which thoughts run and out of which they grow” <— I LOVE THIS quote. Herm.
There are a lot of things in my mind right now. Questions just pop up in my head. Example, “What is language? Why English? How can I put this into words? How should I explain? What should I say? Um… what else? Um… why is this so hard? Am I writing a reflection? Diary? Or what? Aww… what am I suppose to do?” (Hey, the list goes on, okay? And, the questions are still popping now cause I have no idea what to write.)
Whether we realize it or not, we play with words everyday. Whatever language that we use is how we express our thoughts and feelings to other people. It is how we communicate, it is how we talk, socialize, make friends and so on. Even when we monologue, well, I think, we talk. We definitely use language – the one that we understand, of course.
English language, for me, is undeniably important. It is the language that all of us in this world familiar with, a language that all of us are talking about. A language that gives us sense of belongingness and acceptance in the society. These days, English is seen as a language that the humans have to learn, comprehend and master in order to have a place in this world (WOW!! Isn’t this is too exaggerating??? WAHAHA… =.=””)
I always think – living in this world leaves us to hundreds and thousands of questions that can’t guarantee any answers. And now, the questions in my mind is —> Why there is such a language or rather, languages exist in this world? We know that they are approximately 6909 living languages, but why English is SO important out of these 6909 languages? How about the other 6908?
English might not be the most spoken language in the world as compared to Mandarin Chinese… however, the significant of this language is how it is use widely among the people in the globe, across countries and continents! How amazing it is when you know that wherever you go, you will not be afraid that people won’t understand you – because there is ONE language which brings us together – ENGLISH.
English is interesting – as how other languages (such as French, Italian, Spain and Germany… I considered them as beautiful language..hm) are beautiful in their own way. English is, too… beautiful in it’s own way. As someone who could comprehend and express herself through this language, English is definitely a language to be mastered.
Well, that is all for now…

An entrée
Bonjour! Good morning and good day…
Well, today is not really a beautiful Sunday (at least I hope so… with sunshine and all… ) It’s just getting worst because there’s no water supply in our college…and I guess… ONLY MY COLLEGE. Uggh… what is GREATER than starting your day with a fact that there’s no water at your place and you have to go somewhere else to do your daily routine business?? SO…. there goes my Sunday morning… (the nagging continues…nag.nag.nag.)
The thing that bothers me (most of us, I guess)… until when that this disaster will be over?? No water. No business. Business = big and small (you understand what I
mean…), laundry (well, for 3 days…just imagine… ), your dishes..(cups,plates,spoon…) haih…. LIFE = ade-ade saje tak kene ye… I just hope that by this afternoon – at least – we will have the water supply… CAN’T LIVE without water… please….. SIGH.SIGH.SIGH.
OK. Let’s think. I have no idea what to write in this first entrée and I don’t know how to begin. Herm. Honestly, this is not the first time I blog, I have a blogspot account and currently, I am not an active blogger. At the beginning, I think blogging is kinda fun when there are a lot of things to say and share with everybody (it feels good when you received a lot of comments…haha) but… after a while, I feel bored. Well, I am not a person who get addicted to some things for long…so… tak hairan le…
I MISS THIS PLACE.. uhuhu~~
Last but not least, I am looking forward to this subject – Teknologi Pendidikan – using technology in education. I personally think it is a good and effective medium to use if we have the right intentions and provided with good infrastructure, education become more fun and interesting.
